• XSEDE MPI Programming training opportunity satellite site at NCSA, October 2-3

  There is still space available for this trainging event. Walk-ins are welcome at Room 1030 in the NCSA building.

  We would like to inform you of a training opportunity. XSEDE, along with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center will be presenting a MPI programming workshop on October 2-3, 2018. For course details please see https://portal.xsede.org/course-calendar/-/training-user/class/593.

  For interested UIUC participants please register for the NCSA location at https://portal.xsede.org/course-calendar/-/training-user/class/748/session/1959.

  This two-day workshop is intended to give C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to MPI programming. Both days are compact, to accommodate multiple time zones, but packed with useful information and lab exercises. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of how to write scalable codes using MPI – the standard programming tool of scalable parallel computing.
