NCSA GPU Hackathon

Meeting Accommodations

The sessions will be held in room 1040 on the first floor of the NCSA building.
Information about the NCSA facilities.

Wireless access is available.

Participants must bring their own laptop.

Participants will receive training accounts on the Blue Waters system.

Meals

Daily breaks and lunch will be provided
Breakfast and dinner are on your own
There will be an evening social on Tuesday hosted by NVIDIA.

Hotel Accommodations

The closest hotel to NCSA is the Hampton Inn, a short 5 minute walk.

The next closest facility is the Illini Union Hotel which is about a 10-15 minute walk.

There are a few other hotels in walking distance and many more in driving distance which can be identified with an Internet search.

Parking

Please note that parking on campus is challenging, especially at the start of a new semester. There are parking meters in the parking garage next to the NCSA building, and there is free on-street parking within 10 to 15 minutes walking. There is good bus service around campus and the city.
