Semileptonic Kaon Decay Form Factors at the Physical Point

The MILC collaboration is generating an ensemble of configurations on Blue Waters under the USQCD PRAC award. Physical quantities calculated on this ensemble are expected to have very small systematic errors because of its features (light sea-quarks at the physical point, very small lattice spacing, etc.). We plan to analyze this ensemble for a calculation of the phenomenologically important semileptonic kaon decay form factor. Our goal is to use this calculation together with our concurrent analysis on other (smaller) ensembles to obtain a result for the form factor with an overall error that approaches the experimental uncertainty.
