Augmented Reality Visualization of BW Data

Alan Craig, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Usage Details

Alan Craig, Maxwell Collins

The student intern will learn about the entire workflow involved with scientific high-performance computing but will focus on the visualization of, interaction with, and presentation of data. The student intern will explore issues of representation and presentation of data and create scientific visualizations of data from scientific computations. Additionally, the student will implement augmented reality applications that allow the scientist or student to interact with the data physically to engage more of their senses, including proprioception. This work will require the intern to collaborate with scientists and other specialists. Additionally, the intern will explore new mechanisms for annotating and presenting scientific data in publications.
