Our goal this year is to build on this exciting development by including dielectric surface charging in the self consistent kinetic model with a semi-kinetic approach which is more accurate in modeling electrons than traditional electron models such as Boltzmann and Polytropic but computationally less expensive than a fully kinetic PIC DSMC approach.
