Optimization of TecIO-MPI, the Tecplot Parallel Output Library

Usage Details

Tecplot, Inc. proposes to employ the Blue Waters computer to profile and optimize its TecIO-MPI library, a library designed to enable simulation codes to perform parallel output of Tecplot's new .szplt file format. This will continue and support Tecplot's efforts currently underway on the iForge computer by providing access to the Lustre parallel file system and Cray, Inc.'s parallel computer architecture.
