As​ ​part​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Blue​ ​Waters​ ​Student​ ​Internship​ ​Program​, undergraduate​ ​students​ ​learn​ ​the​ ​effective​ ​application​ ​of​ ​Blue​ ​Waters​ ​for​ ​problems​ ​in​ ​science, mathematics,​ ​and​ ​engineering.​ ​The​ ​students​ ​use​ ​their​ ​skills​ ​and​ ​knowledge​ ​in​ ​one-year​ ​research projects​ ​in​ ​petascale​ ​computing,​ ​matched​ ​with​ ​faculty​ ​mentors​ ​at​ ​accredited,​ ​degree-granting institutions.
