Usage Details

Implement and periodically run automated testing of HDF5 performance benchmarks on Blue Waters with these approximate parameters:

• Run HDF5 parallel benchmarks using ~1000 cores (64 nodes) weekly or after code changes. Expected average frequency is twice weekly.
• Run HDF5 parallel benchmarks using ~10000 cores (640 nodes) ~monthly.
• Expected time for a test run with our current 4 benchmarks is significantly less than an hour. We expect to add more benchmarks later, but do not anticipate the duration of a test run will exceed 1 – 2 hours.
